People will forget what you said,
People will forget what you did,
But people will never forget how
You made them feel.
People don’t buy goods and
services. They buy relations,
stories and magic.
One customer well taken care of
could be more valuable than $10K
worth of advertising.
Established in 1977, the Ontario Hostelry Institute began as a joint venture of the Ministry of Colleges and Universities, the Ministry of Tourism and Recreation, and private industry. It was integral in establishing curriculum and programs for the province’s colleges and universities for the hospitality and culinary programs in order to provide the foundation for professionally trained and skilled labour for the industry. Today the Ontario Hostelry Institute concentrates on recognizing and honouring individuals within the industry and it’s contributors.
The Gold Awards is the OHI’s initiative to honour individuals and organizations
within the food service, hospitality, lodging and education system for their contribution to the industry
and the development of others within the industry or education system.
TOP 30 UNDER 30
The Ontario Hostelry Institute’s Top 30 Under 30 program is an annual recognition initiative that recognizes and celebrates the top 30 young professionals in all sectors of the foodservice and hospitality industry. These people are the future foodservice and hospitality leaders who are and will continue to make a difference!
